Clearwater Great Hudson River Revival
by the water at Croton Park
Saturday June 20th and Sunday June 21
Music by: Taj Mahal, Richie Havens, Readnex Poetry Squad, Arlo Guthrie, AlejandroEscovedo, Sarah Underhill, Work O’ The Weavers and Susan Tedeschi. On Clearwater weekend, there is often the chance to catch Pete Seeger on stage, usually leading the audience in song. Also, storytelling , including Heather Forest.
Clearwater is the name of a sailing ship which sails the Hudson on educational journeys. At the festival there will be a unique marketplace of clothes and art, interesting vegetarian food, lots of like-minded souls, children having great fun, and an activist section — where PeaceSmiths will be. And, the whole festival is full of art and ideas about saving the earth.
This year, Anne will be running the PeaceSmiths table. We will have literature and networking, and we also hope to have the cow game (and plenty of membership forms for PeaceSmiths!)
Here is a post about our PeaceSmiths adventures from last year.
