Many of you know that PeaceSmiths had a long history of demonstrating against “war toys” on Black Friday. In similar spirit, we have joined in with local occupiers to demonstrate on Black Friday. Don’t buy stuff on Black Friday! Occupy instead! Occupy for peace, justice, and the environment!

Middle Country Road (Route 25), Lake Grove
Join this Occupy Wall Street solidarity demonstration on Black Friday, at the Smith Haven Mall. Participants will include demonstrators from various Long Island occupations and Occupy Wall Street support rallies, members of numerous Long Island peace and justice groups, and many others who support the Occupy Movement.
We will gather peacefully on the long sidewalk, on Middle Country Road.
Bring your signs, your chants, your enthusiasm, and your call for [Peace!] and economic justice.
