Below is a list of activities happening on September 15th, Sept 16th, and Sept 17th, to celebrate the one year anniversary of Occupy Wall Street. PeaceSmiths, Inc. applauds the efforts of Occupy Wall Street!
If you go to any occupy activities, it would be wonderful to bring a sign that said PEACE or END The WARS!
On September 22, 2011, the New York City General Assembly of Occupy Wall Street released a “One Demand” document (it included over a dozen demands). Included in it were the following lines:
On September 21st, 2011, America had military bases in around one hundred and thirty out of one hundred and sixty-five countries.
Ending American imperialism is our one demand.
On September 21st, 2011, America was at war with the world.
Ending war is our one demand…
Here are notes and calendar items from a press release from Occupy Wall Street:

There’s an array of events signaling lots of energy as OWS begins year two. All offer story ideas and possible availabilities with activists.
