From the New York Civil Liberties Union

More than 1,000 New Yorkers are gathering in Albany on Tuesday, April 29 to demand that the legislature finally grant basic fairness, dignity and justice to every New Yorker  — including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT).

Equality and Justice Day is an opportunity to tell your legislator face-to-face that all families deserve protection and fairness. Rally with more than 1,000 New Yorkers in Albany to call for marriage fairness, transgender non-discrimination protections, safe schools for LGBT youth, and more funding for our community’s health and human services needs.

Make your voice heard in the call for equality and justice. Tell your representatives it’s time to seize this historic moment and enact legislation to protect all New Yorkers’ rights. Hand deliver the more than 7,000 signed letters collected throughout the state in support of Marriage Fairness. Get on the bus!

Buses will be going to Albany from across the state.  Sign up by April 9th to reserve your spot!  Space is going quickly, but there are still a limited number of FREE seats sponsored by the NYCLU.
