(Well, it’s an extravaganza in the paradigm of hippies, folkies and other progressive-type folks…)

Still some tickets left. This looks like a great show…a Benefit for WBAI…to make it possible to broadcast live from the Clearwater Hudson River Revival Festival this summer…

Sunday, April 13, 2008
5:30 PM ’til 9:00 PM

Location: Cinema Arts Centre – 423 Park Avenue – Huntington, NY

Info Line: 631-423-7611

You can order tickets by going to the link at WBAI.org web site or www.brownpapertickets.com/event/27469.

(Think of this as the most exciting WBAI premium ever – a circle of music and friends in celebration of Clearwater and our favorite radio station – delivered right to our neighborhood….and donation to this benefit entitles you to membership in WBAI radio.)

The event will include:

A visit from Pete Seeger (via video hook-up from his log cabin home on the Hudson)

Juan Gonzales talking with us on the subject Democracy, Racism and the Media in America

and, music by…

Work O’The Weavers

James Durst and
