Background:
PeaceSmiths, Inc. is a Long Island based non-profit dedicated to issues of peace, justice and the environment. We are known for our coffeehouse which has been running for over thirty years: PeaceSmiths Topical, A-Typical, Music, Poetry and Whatever Coffeehouse (with open mic)
PeaceSmiths, Inc. has the longest running coffeehouse on Long Island.
Background:
PeaceSmiths, Inc. is a non-profit, membership organization which is dedicated to peace, justice and environmental issues. PeaceSmiths was begun in 1972, and we have the network, archives, and cultural history to prove it! (We have at least one song written about us!)
Our “PeaceSmiths, Topical, A-Typical, Music, Poetry and Whatever Coffeehouse” is on the first Friday of the month, October to June. (Note: The “May” Coffeehouse for 2022 is MOVED to Friday, April 29th. With George Mann.)

You should also be able to find peace vigils in Freeport, Greenlawn, and Patchogue.

I am in Suffolk does anyone know when this will be airing on public access near me?

Hello!
John is the Public Access activist who tapes and airs PeaceSmiths. I think it usually takes him a few weeks to prepare a show and get it up on Public Access. I think our sidebar on the website has fairly accurate times for all of John’s shows (they may be a season off, but I think some are the same, or similar times). PeaceSmiths could show up on any of his timeslots. “PeaceSmiths Get Involved!Thursday mornings at 1:30am / Church of ComedyFriday mornings at 2:00am / Harmony Rising Saturday morning at 4am” You could also check listings at Cablevision for those shows. I will also see if I can get a more specific answer from him. And/or, you could check directly with Robert and Jean.
