PeaceSmiths November Coffeehouse Report

PeaceSmiths was fun and exciting. We had a great crowd – over 40 people! We had more young people than usual (party because of the Kirschenbaum/Herman entourage). Grand Folk Railroad was great, with high energy. People enjoyed David Kirschenbaum’s poetry set, interwoven with self-confession and tributes to Star Wars stamps.

There was a lot of venting, banter, and congratulations about various recent election developments. There were some items on the literature table. We still have a batch of WBAI 99.5 FM stickers to remind folks to tune in to good new sources and community-sponsored information. (Though, we could use more petitions, action items, and announcement fliers. Please do bring some from your favorite causes to share next time!)
