A March and Vigil for Peace

in Setauket, Long Island, New York

Marking the 8th Anniversary of the Invasion of Iraq

Join us as we mourn the thousands who have died since the invasion of Iraq. Join the call for an end to the immoral, illegal and costly wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Not One More Death, Not One More Dollar!”

March with us in solidarity and with the conviction that peace and nonviolent solutions to conflict are possible!

Saturday, March 19th:

10:15 a.m. Marchers assemble at King Kullen Shopping Center (In front of Chase Bank, across from
St. James Catholic Church), Rt. 25A, Setauket.

10:30 a.m. Solemn “March of the Dead” proceeds east along shopping center to Stop & Shop,
then west to Bennetts Road/25A. Marchers: please wear black. You may also opt to go directly to the vigil site.

11:00 a.m. – Noon Reading of the names of Long Islanders killed in Iraq and Afghanistan;
speakers; music; vigil; and demonstration.
