More about the performers:

Hank  Stone – has been playing at every open mic he could find for many years and now he has really made his mark on the Long Island Music Scene. His voice has been compared to Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp. His unique guitar style is instantly recognizable. HIs songs are influenced by everything from pop to rock to folk to blues,to jazz to classical to reggae. He has received many awards and has been included in many compilations. Hank’s songs and playing are like Americana Futurama. His band consists of Todd Evans/guitar&vocals, Bob Westcott/bass, and Gary Settoducato/percussion

Pat Falk – Local poet and Professor of English at Nassau Community College. Among her many awards are The National League of American Pen Women and SUNY Chancellor’s  Award for Creative Work. Her writing has also appeared in the New York Times Book Review. Professor Falk is a human rights activist as well as a researcher in global ecology and the integrity of all life.

Kevin Egan – Humorous singer/songwriter – was formerly the lead singer for 1.6 Band, Punk Rockers. He will do his acoustic songs. His latest album , “Kevin Egan is a Jerk,” is a collection of 9 humorous acoustic songs. The 1.6 Band rocked LI and NYC back in the early 90’s. Kevin has been a musician in Austin, TX for the past several years and is now back in the area, coming from Brooklyn. Welcome home, Kevin.
