Clearwater Hudson River Revival Festival

For many years, the PeaceSmiths community has gone up (often to table) at this wonderful, environmental event. The festival is upstate at Croton-on-the-Hudson, a project begun to apply music, culture and good energy to cleaning up the beautiful, Hudson River. This year, 2009, the festival will be held June 20th and 21st, the weekend of Summer Solstice.

Anti-Broadwater Coalition

Help protect the Long Island Sound from a proposal to build a gigantic, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal which would give our natural resource to corporations, and create a “No public access zone” in the middle of the Sound. Update: The first stage of the battle was won for Broadwater. The situation is now largely in the courts and bureaucracy.
