PeaceSmithies: Do you know any guitar players? (Occupy Guitarmy)
On May Day (Tuesday, May 1, 2012), Occupy Wall Street folks are going to hold an event: 1,000 guitars in a joyful, musical, nonviolent Occupy Guitarmy march.
I can’t think of a better place to find guitar players (and banjo players, and tambourine players, and…) than among the PeaceSmiths crowd. I think we have had 1,000 guitars at our Open Mics sometimes! (Or, it just seemed like that when they used to run until 2am.)
If you are a guitar player, please do lend your talent to Occupy Guitarmy! And, please consider inviting your favorite PeaceSmiths features or Open Mic performers to participate.
