About the performers:
George Mann
Activist, original songwriter. Guitarist and singer of classic folk and labor songs of struggle. George has worked in the labor movement and tours Australia and the west coast each year, as well as many appearances on his home coast. His set will be part concert, party history lesson and plenty of sing-a-longs.
Frank Imburgio and Porchlight
First time we are having Frank at our Coffee House. Frank is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter. Frank devotes his talent to causes such as food, coat, and toy drives. His CD “Life Stories” will be available. He will be accompanied by Porchlight bass and violin

PeaceSmiths, a Long Island group dedicated to peace, justice, and the environment will host our monthly coffeehouse on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 8pm.

Pete is the lead singer of “Butchers Blind”, a local alternative/Americana/folk rock band
This is Pete’s first appearance at our coffee house

Gary is also a visual artist and a PeaceSmiths favorite.
He used to design the Coffee House flyers for the mailing back in the day.
Gary hosted several very cool Open Mics in Huntington.

Triceratones In The Round! with Rorie Kelly, Pauline Salotti, Martha Trachtenberg and
Claire Raby. Rorie Kelly: Dynamic singer, guitarist, and original song writer. Her New CD Rising Rising Rising is awesome. Pauline Salotti: WUSB FM personality. Original songwriter & performer. Martha Trachtenberg: Singer, songwriter, member of multiple bands! Claire Raby: singer, songwriter, vocalist, and the Triceratones’ official fashion director.

Open Time, we got a time at the end for you, if you got a song poem, jokes, or hurrahs.

$7 at the door. We collect vegetarian non-perishable food items for Long Island Food Not Bombs. Cans of vegetables, canned fruit, or bags of rice are good.

PeaceSmiths is held at: First United Methodist Church in Amityville:  25 Broadway Ave, Amityville, NY (Broadway is actually the south-most end of RT 110, near Merrick Road/Montauk Highway.) Our location is a long walk, or a short bike ride from the Amityville LIRR Station.
